Vital Organ is an interactive multi-media work emphasizing sonic phenomena--an exploration of the lives led by man-made inventions after their designated use has been exhausted. Obsolescence uniquely positions the center of our exhibit--an abandoned chord organ--on an 'island of lost toys', its memory fading alongside its 'relevance'. Is it possible that an invention truly comes to life when its original purpose has been made obsolete?
